Air Hogs RC Toys - Get Some Flying Time Under Your Wing With The Great Remote Controlled Toys.
Air Hogs RC toys consist of motor vehicles, water vehicles and most
of all flying craft. They make all sorts of flying craft from normal airplanes to helicopters. They even make 'way
out' designs that look like flying saucers (Vectron Wave) or counter surveillance
machines (Hawk Eye). Part of their unique features are that most of these aircraft are
quite small and light weight so that they can be flown indoors as well as outdoors. Another innovation by Air Hogs
is that they have a combat range of helicopters that can actually battle each other using infrared light
beams. They are great fun to fly and battle against your buddies.

More on Air Hogs RC toys
The idea behind Air Hogs RC toys is to produce small, light weight
machines that have a remote control system for moving and steering. Most people are used to remote control cars or
trucks. Even boats to some extent are fairly common devices to make into remote control toys however helicopters
are not so common. And when you see an RC helicopter, it generally is quite expensive. Well, that was until Air
hogs came on the scene.
Most of the Air hogs helicopters are in the 20 to 50 dollar range. This is not a bad price for a fully
functioning remote control toy. They are usually quite small and made from a soft plastic or Styrofoam material.
This makes them light so that the rotors do not need much power to drive them. The rotors are generally powered by
a couple of AA batteries. The controller is also powered by AA batteries (the number will vary depending on the
machine). If you get the right batteries they can be recharged by placing the machine on the remote controller
base.
Another aspect of the Air hogs RC helicopter toys is the game aspect of them. You can have a lot of fun flying
them but there is also an element of battling other copters on some of the Air Hogs models. These are referred to
as the Battling Havoc Helicopters and are great fun.
The battling Havoc Helicopters have infrared light beams on the
front of them. You have a fire button on the remote control device which can shoot the beam of light. If it hits
another copter as gunfire sound is emitted. If you hit the copter three separate times, then it becomes disabled
and spins out of control down to the ground.
Another model of RC helicopter, the Sharp
Shooter, fires actually projectiles which can also be a lot of fun if you aim them at ground forces or toy
soldiers. See how many you can hit with your twin missile projectiles.
Air Hogs also make regular airplanes as RC toys. They have modeled some of the most famous warplanes going to
make an interest line of planes. They have a copy of the SR-71 “Blackbird”, known as the jet scream airplane . They also have the A-10 “Warthog” as a model. Although
these are jet aircraft, the Air Hogs versions use regular propeller power sources but these are hidden under
cowling or fuselage so that it is not apparent, unless you look very closely, that this is how they are
powered.
Air Hogs RC toys are a fun way to get into remote controlled flying. They are
robust and durable as you will inevitably crash the machine quite often and they are also very reasonably
priced.
